The new Inventors Of Aircraft album ‘Waiting For Something To Break’ is available now

This special limited edition release is in a run of 100 copies, modeled around the classic printed disco vinyl sleeve. It includes printed front and rear sleeves with a circular cut out to show the disc artwork as well as a marble printed vinyl-effect disc. The cover photography is by the artist and the art/design was created by Andrew Heath.

‘Waiting For Something To Break’ is a collection of deep and swirling ambient pieces, created using synthesisers, found sounds and sampled cello. Phil wanted to continue working with Wavetable Synthesis as he had done in his last album for Whitelabrecs ‘Edge Of Imagination’. However, the work that came about was different, with a more atmospheric and emotional sound emerging as his subconscious took over in the creative process.
